Singapore economy grows 10.3 per cent in third quarter

Singapore – Singapore’s economy recorded growth of 10.3 per cent in the third quarter and remained on track to achieve the overall growth forecast of between 13 and 15 per cent for the year, the Ministry of Trade and Industry said Thursday.

 

However, the city-state’s economy contracted by 19.8 per cent on a seasonally adjusted quarter-on-quarter annualised basis, it said. The ministry said the decline in the third quarter growth momentum was an expected correction from the exceptional growth in the first half of the year… Reg Cure
